WHAT THRIVING LOOKS LIKE

When we started the Faster Way, my husband and I were both incredibly motivated. I was at almost the same weight I was when I was 9 months pregnant, and I wanted to feel healthy, lighter, and have more energy, all of which the Faster Way promises. It was hard at first. I didn’t realize how much processed food my husband and I were eating, and how many unnecessary ingredients were in the foods I was feeding my family. We both definitely felt a slump that first week as we removed a lot of sugar from our diets, but we began to actually read ingredient labels, and learned which foods properly fueled our bodies (who knew that most taco seasonings include sugar?! Why?!). I was surprised at how large the education component was with this program- we spent a lot of time actually unlearning things we thought we knew about the foods we were eating and how much our bodies needed. By the end of week two, we had learned how to track macros and we both felt AMAZING. I couldn’t believe how much energy I had!

I have been working with Jennifer since January of 2024, and I cannot say enough good things about her! Success looks like not shaming myself after enjoying birthday celebrations over the weekend for my daughter. Or after traveling on vacation with my family and not tracking my macros. This program gave me the knowledge to fuel my body effectively, the freedom to enjoy treats and beverages, and the encouragement to look at Monday as a continuation that I’m excited for instead of a “fresh start” because I messed up. I’m not perfect and I don’t feel like I have to be on this program. There is grace, and also accountability. There is structure, and also personalization. I am loving what I am seeing so far. I feel way more confident. My face is not a puffy and swollen and my body composition is already changing. Before this program, I was doing pieces of a healthy lifestyle but not incorporating them all together. Every puzzle piece is important and this program is really showing me that.

The workouts that accompany the program are my favorite part of the program. They are thirty minutes each, and can be done right in our living room. We aim to do three-four workouts per week, along with walking each day. After the fourth week with the Faster Way, I could actually see muscle definition in my chest and arms. Who knew you could get that without hours in the gym? I am also that person that has never enjoyed working out, but I have made completing these short workouts a non-negotiable habit, and I truly have never felt better. And I always feel fantastic when they are done! Other aspects of the program that Jennifer taught us included carb-cycling, intermittent fasting, and the importance of getting enough water each day. I know it sounds like a lot, but trust me, you learn each new habit little by little and it gets easier.

My clothes 100% fit better and I'm down from a 6 to a 4. I'm sleeping soundly for 8-9 hours. My complexion is better. I don't feel bad about eating carbs and often find myself having to add them in bc I need to hit my macros. I haven't felt deprived at all! I lost about 5-6 pounds in 6 weeks and have added muscle. That's crazy to me! I've been trying to lose the same 1 pound for like three years. I feel in control of my health/weight finally! And this is totally maintainable. Excited to see how this lifestyle continues to unfold for me!

The biggest difference for us in the Faster Way is that we have actually been able to stick with it (going on 9 months)! Do we get it 100% perfect every week? No. But by building small habits one at a time and adding certain non-negotiables into your day, you do notice a considerable difference in both how you feel, your energy level, and how you sleep. My husband and I are both so thankful for the Faster Way, because it gives us a healthy lifestyle that we can manage with our insanely busy schedule.
